Just want to share with you a piece of Altered Art I've been working on over the Christmas break using the Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 Art Parts and rubber stamps that are new to the website.

I coloured the elements with Distress Ink and overstamped using Ranger Archival Ink. Flowers and swirls were made from Grunge Paper. I really enjoyed making this and the great thing about the Art Parts elements is that they are really light so ideal for using on your cards too!

WOW Powders

Sorry I've not posted for a while but I just wanted to let you know that we are now stocking WOW Embossing Powders on the website. These powders are great quality and are the ones I demo-ed at the NEC. If you get chance to try them please do as they really are great quality.

This card was made using Stempelglede stamps and the Violet Pearl embossing powder. I stamped the image in black and the powder over the top turns a lovely purple colour depending on how the light catches it. Some great effects can be achieved with these powders.

Hi folks

Just wanted to share with you a card made using the Christmas Pals stamp from The Artistic Stamper.

The image was coloured with Promarkers and the background paper is Snowy Jo - Santa's Secret Garden, from Imaginisce. A few highlights were added with Glossy Accents and Stickles glitter glue.

I have just had a delivery from Creative Expressions so will be adding some new goodies to the Stampeezee website over the next few days so please pop over and have a look if you have a minute.

Hi there

Wanted to share with you a card I've made using one of the new Personal Impressions christmas stamp plates available in the webshop. I really like this image and it looks great heat embossed.

I used WOW embossing powder - I will be stocking these in the webshop shortly.

I've been very fortunate to be asked to Demonstrate for WOW Powders and to be on their design team - all very exciting for me, so if any of you are going to the Hobby Crafts show at the NEC in November please stop by to say hello.

Anyhow, back to the card. I used a Nestie to cut the tree stamped the sentiment using Archival Ink onto a Spellbinders Fancy Tag. I think this is quite a simple but effective card and I hope you like it.

All Change!

Well, it's been quite a while since this blog was updated but here's the thing - I'm Rachel and I've taken over the Stampeezee webshop since Debbie closed the bricks and mortar shop in Coventry.
With Debbie's help and guidance I've been learning the ropes and finally got round to posting on here. I'll try to be a good blogger from now on and keep you updated with what's new, card ideas, and anything else I think you'll want to know.
The news today is that from tomorrow until the 16th October there is a 15% discount across the website as a thank you for all your patience.

Oldie but Goodie

Sarah here again, I thought I would pop on and show you a card I made with one of the Greeting Farm stamps still available in the shop, this one is 'Edward', he is a dream to colour and is my fave Greeting Farm stamp ever (apart from the cute Reindeer that is). See the fab range of Greeting Farm stamps here

I teamed Edward up with some papers from Basic Grey 'Oliver' pad, in stock here and coloured him in the following Promarkers:

Cool grey, 1, 3, 4, 5, warm grey 5, dusky pink, blush, pastel pink, sandstone, Ivory, Burgundy, crimson and my trusty blender, all the Promarkers I have used are in stock here

I kept the card simple, I jus added some wonky stitching the the card to add interest.....LOL, I don't think I will ever master the sewing machine, it seems to have a mind of its own!!!

Oh Baby!!

Hi bloggers, Sarah here again with a card I made with one of the a la mode stamps from My Favourite Things, don't cha think that lil lady and that teddy are cute??

I love these a la modes, see them all here, the one I have used is 'Oh Baby' and it comes with 4 sentiments that stamp beautifully!!

I had to paper piece that teddy and pop his head up on dimensionals, soooooooo adorable!!! I coloured the rest of the image in the following Promarkers, all of which are available here:

Blush, Dusky Pink, Rose pink, meadow green, apple, cocoa and caramel

The Rosette was made from this die here and the paper button using this die here.

My Favourite things are bringing out some fab lines at the moment, I think I have a slight obsession with this manufacturer at the moment...LOL

The sketch is an old Mojo Monday, fab layout.

Oh before I forget the DP is Imaginisce Baby Powder Baby's breath, so sweet!! I can't find it on the website so I think it must be all sold out, this is an old line I had in my stash!!

Daffodil Delight

Hi everyone, Sarah here again just popping on to show you another card I have made using another stamp from the Pure Innocence Range

This one is called 'Daffodil', she is perfect for spring and she is in stock here

I used some old Basic Grey papers I had knocking about & I stamped Daffodil in Black memento Ink available here and coloured here with the following Promarkers:

Blush, dusky pink, pastel pink. sunflower, gold, caramel, cocoa, baby pink, cerise, bright green & leaf green, all these colours are available here

The sentiment came with the stamp set and is 1 of 4 included, see here

More Pure Innocence

Happy Tuesday to you all, Sarah here again, I thought I would share another card made with an adorable Pure Innocence stamp 'Carnation' that I picked up in the shop on Saturday. These cuties are adorable and there is one for nearly every occassion, look here to see them all.

I teamed this cutie up with some Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Paper available here and Blossom nestabilities in stock here.

The sentiment I used is from this Whimsy set here and the little embellishments I used are called 'Dew Drops' and are available in lots of colours here

Carnation was so easy to colour, I used Promarkers in the following colours:

Burgundy, Red, Cocoa, Sandstone, cool grey 1, Duck egg blue, Turquoise, Blush, Pastel Pink, Dusky Pink, Leaf green, Forest Green and the Blender

Tatty Button.......Oh My!!!!

Hiya peeps, Sarah here again, just popping on to show you another card I have made with some of the new products available in the shop at the moment.

Debbie has a great new stamp range called Tatty Button, this one is called Toadstool Retreat, I fell in love right away, I have a thing for cute mice and that little fella peeking out from behind the Toadstool was just too cute to pass up!!!

I coloured the image with Promarkers and covered the mushroom top in Glossy accents, I cut out my image with Circle & Scallop nesties

The sentiment is from this set by Whimsy Stamps, they are such good value, see the entire Whimsy stamp range here

I also used the new My Minds Eye Stella Rose - Mabel Papers, see the MME pads available here, these 6x6 pads are perfect for cardmaking!!!

The little glass embellies I used are called Dew drops available in lots of colours here

These are a few of My Favourite Things!!

Morning Bloggers, Sarah here, I just wanted to show you some of the fab new products available in the shop and on the website!

I have been longing for Debbie to order some Flopsey Stamps from My Favourite Things and I got my wish, Birthday Flopsey appeared in the shop last week and I just had to take him home and create with him, he is available here but be quick he is already selling fast!! The sentiments I have used on the ouside and the inside come with Flopsey along with 1 other, such good value!!

The fab border die is a Dienamics Die by My Favourite things, I just had to have it, I did have trouble chosing between the great selection of these dies though, I wanted them all!! They are popping up all over blogland and are selling out fast, I know Debbie has ordered more already as these dies are proving incredibly popular, see the selection here

The pattern paper is Hopscotch by Basic Grey and is available here and Flopsey was coloured with the following Promarkers:

Pastel Blue, Pastel Pink, Turquoise, Cool aqua, Umber, Cinnamon, Sandstone, Gold, Tan & the blender pen.

Hi Everyone

I have a card to show you today which I made with The Greeting Farm Later Sk8er set available here. The papers are Basic Grey Hopscotch from the 6x6 pad - these pads are great for cardmaking as the designs are scaled down from the 12x12 size and also the whole pad co-ordinates making it easy to put papers together! The pads are available here. I have also used some of the new seam binding which I have gathered along a strip of extra strong double sided tape, this is great value at only 95p for 5 metres and you can also spritz it and scrunch with water or any mica shimmer mist to give it a vintage look. The cute characters have been coloured with promarkers.

Also we have 1 place left for the all day scrapbooking on Saturday with Annika and Janette (who is here from Sweden). We have a lovely bunch of friendly ladies already booked so don't be worried about coming on your own!! We did this last year and everyone had a great day. Oh dear, I've slipped already, it's been ages since I posted and I had all good intentions, I don't know where the days go!!

Yes, I know it's Thursday not Tuesday - Tuesday is the name of the very cute Greeting Farm stamp on the card I have to show you today, she's available here at Stampeezee, I love these stamps! The bling in the corner is a Prima designer rhinestones available here. The papers are Basic Grey. The message is one of the Craftwork Cards in block messages and I have stuck a prima say it in studs embellishment onto it. I have also used nestabilities classic ovals and beaded ovals.

We have had lots of new things in at Stampeezee including Quickutz dies, House Mouse stamps, Kenny K stamps and Whimsy stamps and the latest kit of month is now available -

I hope you have had nice holidays and spent your free time crafting and scrapbooking!

At Stampeezee the classes has already begun, but I want to promote a few upcoming classes a bit extra!

You know I love Tim Holtz, and all the things that he makes (my credit card doesn't love him as much...!). I thought it was time to take the Distressing to Valentines cards, so I have prepared two classes for you!

First up is this class, that will be held this Saturday (the 29th) at 10-12.
This is a class of making backgrounds, stamping, and embellishing die cuts!

The class is £10 and we will be making two cards!
As usual all material is included and the only thing you need to bring is yourself!

Once upon a springtime

Hi Everyone

The sun is shining here in Coventry and it's lovely.

I made this card last with the new Graphic 45 Once upon a Springtime papers - they are gorgeous.

Card ingredients:

The heart is covered in german glass glitter - available HERE (I am still awaiting jars to pack it!)

Here is a close up of the flowers and the heart although you can't see from the photo how glittery the german glass glitter is.

This card is on display in the shop so you can take a closer look next time you're in if you live locally.

We are off to see Grace tonight in her last performance in Cinderella at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. This is her 5th year doing panto and she loves it - and I love watching (this will be my 4th time seeing Cinderella tonight!).

Hope you all had a good Christmas and enjoyed the break - it seems to come and go so quickly!

I have a card to show you today - managed to get in the craft room at last! All the bits on the card are the Craftwork Cards Ooh La La collection available at Stampeezee just type ooh la la in the search box and the whole range will come up. I love the muted colours and vintagey feel of this collection. I have edged everything with a brown ink pad and added little gems to the card candy (a little tip from a friend of mine - they look good don't they!).

More christmas card workshops + Kit class sneak peak!

This is actually my first post on the Stampeezee blog - so be nice now!

After our demo-day a few weeks ago,
me and Debbie decided to put in a few more workshops for you!

Tonight (22nd) and on wednesday (24th) night (6.30 - 8.30) we are stamping and distressing (as per usual with me!)

After that we have the 1st of december where we are going to play with tiles, Tim Holtz papers and make some more nice christmas cards:

On Saturday the 4th of december (10-12) there will be yet another christmas card class. On the demoday I showed some alcoincs, and how to make nice backgrounds with that. We will be doing that, as well as use grungeboard and Distress Cracklepaint and stamps!

All of the above classes are £10, and you will make 2 cards, natter with the other nice ladies, have some coffee/tea and biscuits and the class will last for 2 hours.

And now.... Kit class...! Will be held on Monday the 6th of December at 6-8! My favourite thing, well after Tim Holtz that is!

Decembers kit will be fabulous! Debbie has decided it is ok for me to give you a few sneaks of what it looks like... and you will NOT be disappointed!

The kit will be £19 (and that is a very good value for money - trust me!), but add another £5 and come to the kit class. I will prepare 2-3 layouts that you can be inspired by, or copy exactly if you want to do that!

Yet again, lack of blogging, I thought i had better post something whilst I am relaxing! Yes, thats right Im on my school holiday! This afternoon me and mum are going for a girly shopping day, then to see Hairspray which I am very excited about!
Anyway, I did this layout with the Oooh La La craftwork cards collection. I loved this collection the moment I saw it! I like shabby chic type things. So when I got my hands on it this is what I made...................................

Hi there, this is my first post here on the Stampeezee blog! I've been meaning to for a while but I have been on holiday recently and have been busy since we got home. I hope to try to post quite often though as part of my DT duties.

I have made a card to show you with this gorgeous stamp from the Pure Innocence range My Favourite things, isn't she just adorable?! She comes with several sweet sentiments and is available here. She has been coloured with promarkers, the buttons and card are from my stash but the bakers twine and Martha Stewart punch are also from Stampeezee.

I hope to be back in the not too distant future with another creation to share with you using the Just Rite stamps which I love!

Lemonade Anyone?

All day workshop

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a good weekend.

On Saturday we had an all day workshop here at Stampeezee. A great day was had by all thanks to Annika and Jeanette who ran the workshop and also brought in home made cinnamon buns and chocolate cake & cream - delicious! A quick thanks to Malin too who washed up for us. Here are some photos which Grace took of the ladies getting messy with inks, cosmic shimmers, alcohol inks and UTEE .

Here are a couple of finished examples made by Annika and Jeanette. Here is close up of the beautiful flowers they made. Very easy to do - start with circle and keep cutting round in a spiral then starting at the middle roll it back up - then shape and spritz with cosmic shimmers or glimmer mists - aren't they just gorgeous!!

Here is another example of one of the techniques the ladies did on Saturday by masking and spritzing with cosmic shimmers. Very simple but really effective.

You can see the shimmers better on this close up.

Also a quick reminder that we have got a SALE on all week in the shop - will end on Saturday - so be quick and come and grab yourself a bargain.

Butterfly Tilda

Both cards today have been made with the Tilda as butterfly stamp, I know this is one of the older Tilda stamps but we've just had her back in stock here at Stampeezee and I think she's lovely!

For this 1st card I coloured Tilda with promarkers, I chopped her wings off and gave her a little sign to hold up. The background paper is from the Best Creation Inc Once upon a dream collection - swirly flowers - available here - this is a double sided glittered 12 x 12 heavyweight paper. I used a bit of bakers twine to tie the sign to Tilda's hands.

This second card was made by Grace, you can see her here with wings. Grace also used promarkers to colour Tilda and papers are Imaginisce. The border was punched with the Fiskars border punch - apron lace available here. She has stuck little gems on her antenae (which I also cut off on my Tilda!).

Morning Everyone

Another lovely day here in Coventry - hope it's sunny wherever you are today.

First things first - today I want to announce the winner of my blog candy and the winner is ................... ESME - e-mail me with your address and I will get your candy posted out to you.

We have an addition to our family -my sister-in-law Kerry (some of you will know Kerry from the shop) has had a gorgeous baby boy, Harry - congratulations Kerry and Simon. This has caused great excitement not least of all from Grace who would be round there everyday if it was possible!! Grace made a lovely canvas and also with Sonia's help she made a lovely pram and a nappy crib for Kerry, Simon and baby Harry and I am sure she will show these on her blog "Gracie - Dancing Angel" very soon. I made a keepsake box, here are some pictures of it, sorry the pictures aren't great - I found it very hard to photograph.

This is the card I made for Grace for her birthday. It is an 8" x 8" card and I used Magic Tilda sitting on the Magnolia arm chair both coloured with promarkers. The papers are Magnolia, the flowers were made using the Tim Holtz tattered flower die. The chipboard swirl and numbers were sprayed with cosmic shimmer mist.

Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend. Can't believe it's the 1st June already, we have a new kit of the month available HERE on the website. The months are flying by, it's frightening - must be getting old!!

Happy Saturday! Well, not only has Sarah got an addiction to these fabulous pure innocence stamps, I have to! I think they are great and there is so many things you can do with them! So here is the card I made with the Sending you happy mail set...

I have used promarkers to colour in the girl and I added the red ribbon and gems for a little bit of detail. It is a very simple card, but also effective as well!
Now before I go, I just wanted to remind you to grab your mo manning stamps and the new popcorn the bear stamps as well! There are so many things to buy at the moment!

Lollipop Magnolia!

Hello All,

This is my first post as a contributor on the Stampeezee Blog! I thought I would show you a card I made a few weeks ago using the Lollipop Magnolia. I did put it on my own blog Dancing Angel, but in case you havent seen it I thought I would put it on here to! For this card i coloured the magnolia with the beloved promarkers! The papers I used are not actually available at Stampeezee, however there are plenty of pads very similar in colour and style! I cut out the swirl with a sizzix die which you can find on the website with the other bits and bobs I also used!

Innocent Fairy Girl

Happy Tuesday, hope the weather is being kind where you are today, as promised I am back with another cutie patootie from The Pure Innocence Range from My favourite things, this one is 'Fairy girl', find her here, I think she might be my fave so far, such a sweet image for girlie cards!!

I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo black Ink & coloured her with Promarkers as usual, they are my favourite colouring medium if you haven't already guessed, find the whole range here

I kept this card really simple, adding some texture to the white panel with the cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder and I used circle nesties to cut the image out then mounted it onto a blossom nestie, find a wide range of nestability products here. The gorgeous DP is by Basic Grey from the 6x6 pad currently in stock here

Charleston Tilda

Good morning

It's another beautiful day here in Coventry. Hope you all had a good weekend. We went to Drayton Manor yesterday and it was so hot - we came home absolutely worn out. We did manage to cool down a bit half way through the day when we went on Stormtrouper (a ride like the log flume) - we got soaked to the skin - but it was great fun!

The card I have to show you today is using the Charleston Tilda, I love the way she is kicking her heels up! I have coloured her with promarkers. Other things I have used are:

Phew, the temperatures have soared here in the Midlands!! Far too hot for me to sit out in so I got another Pure Innocence stamp Inky to show you. This one is called Tree Swing, how cute is this lil fella?

He even comes with 3 sentiments and a little dog, find him and his friends here

Happy Saturday everyone, the sun is shining here in the Midlands, I sure hope it is where you are!!!
Anyhow, I just wanted to tell you that you can now find a fantastic selection of the delightful Pure Innocence range by My Favourite Things here at the Stampeezee store.

I could not resist inkin up Bloomin good day first, how cute is she?

I coloured this cutie with Promarkers, If you have not tried these pens they are must, so easy to use and the results are amazing, they work on most surfaces including your embelishments, find the whole range here, don't forget to use the correct ink pad with these pens though otherwise your ink may bleed ruining your project and potentially your pens. I use Memento Tuxedo black, available here

I added some buttons to the card but they looked a tad naked so I threaded them with some of the red & white Bakers Twine that has recently become available in the shop, it comes in 3 colours and you get 20 metres for only 99p, a steal at that price me thinks, look here for details, I just love the cute dolly pegs that this stuff comes on, I can't seem to find these pegs anymore!!!

SHOCK - HORROR!!

I'm back and I'm hanging my head in shame, it's been such a long time since I posted here. Anyway here I am with all good intentions of posting regularly to keep you up to date with what's going on at the shop and hopefully giving you lots of ideas and inspiration for your cardmaking. Today's card is one I made for my sister's birthday which was yesterday, she just loves chocolate of any sort so I thought this stamp very appropriate!! OK so the image is still popping up at the top - if anyone can help me with that I would be very grateful! The stamp is by House Mouse, coloured with my trusty promarkers, I have added liquid pearls and glitter to the chocolates (you can see this better on the close up) and a bit of Craftwork Cards card candy to finish off, all available HERE at Stampeezee.

I have coloured her with ProMarkers (I am getting better with my colouring - Grace said I'm nearly as good as her now!). I have cut her out using the oval nestabilities. The papers are Basic Grey Wisteria, the flowers are Prima E-line which I have spritzed with cosmic shimmers, the centre is one of the new Prima sultan centres and the greeting is Craftwork Cards - all available from Stampeezee.

Sorry I haven't blogged for a while been busy with children as it's been half term. We had a long weekend up at my Dad's in Lancashire which was lovely. Pete and Jordan did the "Go Ape" course at Grizedale Forest while we were there, Grace and I watched (I have to say I'm glad because they were a long way up), still it looked fun and they really enjoyed it.

Thought I'd show you the birthday card I made for my sister. I used one of the gorgeous Anyas from the Miss Anya dressy set available HERE. I coloured her with Promarkers. The senitment is Craftwork Cards and the label is Spellbinders fancy tags available HERE. Flowers are cut with a punch. Also used nestabilities classic scalloped ovals large.

Magical Christmas

I have a card for you today although it's one of those that I made but I'm not sure whether I like it or not. Anyway I used one of the cute Helz Cuppleditch stamps which are not christmas stamps but it's one of those you could use for christmas or birthdays. Have layered him using the nestabilities label one set and done the border using the new spellbinders pendant renaissance heart. All available at Stampeezee!

A short post today my Greeting Farm order has just arrived and I need to go unpack it and get it loaded onto the website!

Busy Weekend

Well I've had a really busy weekend this weekend -

On Saturday Sonia did a demonstration at the shop using the JustRite stamps. We had a great day and Sonia made some gorgeous cards, but both of us being new to this blogging lark we didn't think to take any photos - how daft are we!! Promise that we'll take photos next time to show you all. Sonia has posted lots of the cards on her blog though so you can have a look at them here you just need to scroll down to the posts dated 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th October. All the samples are still on display in the shop, so if you are local pop in and have a look. Thanks Sonia for a great demo.

Then yesterday Me and Grace took some of our Stampeezee shop to a crop in Cheswick Green Village Hall, Solihull where the ladies meet once a month. We had a lovely day chatting to the ladies and taking a peek at what they were doing as well as selling our wares, they were all very friendly and made us feel very welcome there. We are looking forward to going again in December. If you live in the Solihull area you can find out about the crop here.

Award and kit of the month

I know I am so naughty it's been 5 days since my last post! Be prepared for a long post.

I have received my first blog award from my beautiful daughter - thank you Grace. OK so now I have to pass it on to 5 people. Now, I would have given it to Grace but she gave it to me and she also gave it to 3 other people I would have picked so I have had to think hard about this one!

I would like to pass it on to the following people who's blogs I always check in on regularly:

Sonia - because she is working really hard making some beautiful samples for the demo at Stampeezee this Saturday - everyone is welcome between 10am and 4pm - we are in Coventry!

Lizzie - because she has just started a new blog and she is a fabulous friend.

Ann - who does some really lovely scrapbook pages and is looking for a job at the moment - good luck Ann.

Pops - she makes lovely cards and was kind enough to send me an image for the shop gallery using the James stamp she ordered from me

Annika - who has become part of the team at Stampeezee - we are looking forward to having her back from Sweden - she has some great workshops lined up for us.

I want to also mention that we are going to be doing a Kit of the Month with the 1st kit launching on 1st November. I am really excited about this - on the 1st of each month the kit will be on the website to order - each month will be a different kit and priced according to product included but every month will be a saving on the actual content RRP. The first kit has a value of £27 but will be priced at £20 so a great value kit for our launch. You don't have to sign up for every kit, just have a look on the 1st of the month if you like it order it - if you don't you don't have to order it! For those of you who live locally you will also have the option to pay an extra £5 and come a Kit of the month workshop with Annika. The workshop will be 2 hours and you will make projects using the kit. The first Kit workshop will be on 4th November.

Phew - hope that all makes sense.

Just wanted to do a quick post in case you think I've disappeared - I haven't, just been really busy! Grace and I went to the Artisan bead fair on Sunday at Leamington Spa - got some lovely beads to make bracelets for Grace's friends for Christmas presents. If we actually get round to making them I will show you!!! You know what it's like they have gone in the box with all the other beads we bought months ago.

Anyway here are a couple of cards I made using the Graphic 45 papers which I absolutely love. They are such a good quality more of a thin card really.

The butterfly card uses the Graphic 45 Botanicabella tags, and papers from Baby to Bride collection and Domestic Goddess collection.

This ladies card uses papers from Graphic 45 Fashionista collection and the communique collection.

This is the Tilda I coloured in the Promarker Masterclass and I have now made a card with her. I thought this image was perfect to use with the new Graphic 45 Domestic Goddess collection. I punched the flowers with EK retro flower punches and used nestabilities for mounting. Punched the border at the bottom using the Martha Stewart doily lace punch. The pearls are new in the shop and come in lots of different colours. The greeting is Craftwork Cards mini messages.

Well Grace had a long day yesterday auditioning to be in the pantomime at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry and she got in. This will be her 4th pantomime, she loves doing them and I love watching her. I am so proud when I see her on the stage - you can tell she loves it as she is always beaming from ear to ear! Well done Grace!

Made a quick wedding card yesterday as I am running low on stock in the shop so here it is, very simple. I used the sizzix originals die - flower layers 5 (available here), cut 3 from different coloured card then cut 6 more from sheer material and laid them over the top then held the layers together with brads and bead spacers.
The sentiment is from an Inkadinkadoo clear wedding set.

It was my day off yesterday so I whizzed through a bit of housework so that I could sit and make some cards. Had this superstar Anya stamp for a while and hadn't stamped her up so here she is - isn't she gorgeous! Thought this one might come in handy for Grace (she is my little Superstar!). Had another go with the promarkers and I think I am getting better, although when I see the beautiful colouring on other people's blogs I realise I have a way to go yet!

Made this card the other night - love these popcorn bear stamps - they are really cute. Coloured with distress inks and mounted with the square and scalloped square nestabilities. A touch of glitter added! Simple but effective I think!

Want to mention also that we have just had 2 new collections in from Graphic 45 papers - Christmas Past and Domestic Goddess - these papers are gorgeous they are 12" x 12" and a heavyweight more of a thin cardstock.

Thank you Sonia for the Promarker masterclass last night!

I joined in Sonia's workshop last night as I hadn't done much with the promarkers but really wanted to learn how to use them. I really enjoyed the class (and I didn't even have to make the teas!) - here is my colouring - I was really chuffed with my first attempt! Hopefully with a bit more practice I will get even better results.

When I get round to putting these on a card I will show you.

Li'l Miss Poppy

Well here is my first card to show you and I couldn't resist using the Li'l Miss Poppy stamp from the Belles and Whistles range - she is soooo cute.

For this card I have used:

stamp - Belles and Whistles - Li'l Miss Poppy

papers - Basic grey 6 x 6 lemonade paper pad

punch - Martha Stewart doily lace border punch

sentiment - Craftwork cards mini messages birthday black

I have also used stickles glitter glue - although you can't see this from the photo and Li'l Miss Poppy was coloured with distress inks.

I am looking at cameras so hopefully I can get better pictures on the blog very soon. If anyone can recommend a good camera I would be interested to hear from you.
