Hi Bloggers

Hope you've all had a good week.
Just wanted to let you know that there are some new Graphic 45 papers on the Stampeezee website. Kraft Reflections are 12x12 single sided kraft based papers that have lovely images on in sepia and black - they compliment all the other collections wonderfully. Also, Little Darlings - babies, butterflies, and text 12x12 sheets in lovely soft colours. I've also had into stock a selection of the new M-Bossabilities double sided embossing folders from Spellbinders. Great value for money and some fab designs. Pop on over for a look if you get a minute.
Hopefully I'll be fitting in some craft time this weekend; whatever your doing, have a good one!

Thanks for stopping by,

Just wanted to let you know that we have some of the new Molly Blooms rubber stamps on the website. These are from the new 'The Big Top' range. We have also added some of the summery feel stamps that we didn't add to the site last year. They are well worth a look - beautifully created by Clare Rowlands.
This is just a quick post so I'll be back soon with inspiration.

Ella Bella

Hi Folks

Wanted to share another card I made using the Indigo Blu stamps and Mega Flakes. I demo-ed these on Saturday in Newcastle and they are really lovely to work with. The stamps are deeply etched rubber and the Flitter Glu and Flakes give a amazing finish:

I used the 'Ella Bella' stamp and the Winter Dawn flakes. The background is Distress Ink - dots created by using some sequin waste as a stencil. The flourish is one from Creative Expressions and the fronds are a Martha Stewart punch.
Here is a close up of the guilded stamp:

I think they give a lovely effect and each set of flakes has a different colourway.

Well that's all for now.

Flitter Glu & Mega Flakes

Hi folks

Wanted to share with you a card I've made using the Flitter Glu and Mega Gilding flakes from Indigo Blu. I've used the same image - Love Is - as Debbie used in the previous post but I stamped the image with Flitter Glu and then applied the Winter Dawn Mega Flakes, following the Indigo Blu instruction sheet. They give a lovely, gilded finish and the fact that you can finally stamp your images with a glue that works (glitter, foils, flock, flowersoft - must play!!!!) is wonderful.

The photo really doesn't do these gilding flakes justice, they are such a beautiful combination of colours. I made the rest of the card by blending Distress Inks together then spritzing with water to distress further. I then used a Creative Expressions crackle stamp with WOW Embossing Powder in silver to add interest. A Martha Stewart border punch and there you have it! I'm certainly hooked on gilding now!

Well bye for now

Love is

Hi there

I wanted to share with you a card made by Debbie Bend using the beautiful Love Is stamp from Indigo Blu that we have new on the website.

Debbie has stamped and embossed the heart with white embossing powder, creating a 'resist' and then inked over with Distress Inks. I think you'll agree that this looks lovely!

Now to follow on from this I would like to give you the heads up on a new Crop being run by Jaqui Gilbert (used to do the scrapbook workshops when Debbie had the store in Coventry). It will be a monthly scrapbooking crop held at Corley Village Hall, Corley near Coventry. The first one is on Sunday 22nd April 10am – 4pm cost is £15 to include teaching and materials of a double page spread and free tea and coffee. If you want to book or want to know more just e-mail Jacqui at jacqui.gilbert@hotmail.co.uk . Debbie Bend will also be doing workshops at the crop –  starting at 1.30 -  a 2 hour workshop will cost £10 including all materials and the three cards to be made in the first one look gorgeous.  Drop Debbie an e-mail if you want to book on her workshop – debbie.eviestar@gmail.com or take a look at her blog http://eviestar.wordpress.com for more info.

Anyhow, thanks for stopping by and if any of you are going to the Hobby Crafts Show at the NEC in Birmingham this week please stop by and say hello. I'll be demonstrating on the WOW Embossing Powders stand again - can't wait!

Mid Season Sale

Hi Bloggers

Just to let you know that if you pop across to the Stampeezee website there is a 25% off Mid Season Sale running from Monday 27th Feb - Sunday 4th March inc, so take advantage and stock up on all your crafting essentials.

I had a great time demo-ing for WOW Powders at the Trade Show earlier this week. I made sure I found time to have a browse for the shop and in the coming months should have some great new products arriving.

I also had a picture of a Box Frame sent to me this week from Debbie, the founder, and previous owner of Stampeezee. She made this using the new, fabulous, Tropical Travelogue 12"x12" papers from Graphic 45. Isn't this lovely?

To see more of Debbie's work,or just to keep up with what she's doing now please click on the following link: Eviestar to take a look at her blog; I'm sure she'd appreciate your comments.

Well, that's it for now.
